The West Vancouver Community Centres Society (WVCCS) is extremely pleased to announce our next Forum on Dialogue and Learning, titled Cancer Research in BC - the Courage to Say Cure, will be taking place on Tuesday, March 31st.
World renowned doctors and researchers Marco Marra and Janessa Laskin, along with Doug Nelson, CEO of the BC Cancer Foundation, will discuss why BC is at the leading edge globally in attacking cancer. One of BC's best known media personalities, Bill Good, has volunteered his time to moderate the panel discussion and audience participation.
The Forum takes place from 7-9pm in the Music Hall at the West Vancouver Community Centre. The event is free to the community, but as space is limited we ask to avoid disappointment you email your name and number of seats requested to firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible.
The WVCCS would like to acknowledge the generous support of our event sponsors North Shore News, Park Royal, Stantec, Valor FIreplaces, British Pacific Properties and Seaspan, whose participation allows us to offer this program free of charge.
The West Vancouver Community Centre is operated under an innovative community governance partnership between the District of West Vancouver and the West Vancouver Community Centres Society, a registered charitable Society.
