The WVCCS is a volunteer, not-for-profit, membership-driven organization of West Vancouver residents, dedicated to ensuring our facilities, the programs they provide and the individuals participating, foster a true sense of community based on inclusiveness, generosity of spirit and good health.
The Build Community, Buy a Brick Campaign is the initial fundraising campaign of the Society. It provides the opportunity to be a part of meeting those goals and enhancing the benefits of our Community Centre. Be recognized as a community builder or recognize a loved one by having an individual or family name(s), a team or group name, or a business name engraved on a brick located in the South Plaza at the south entrance to the West Vancouver Community Centre. Your contribution will support how the Society adds value to Community Centre programs. Bricks can be purchased by individuals for $500, by groups (not-for-profit organizations, eg. sport group) for $750, and by businessess/corporations (for-profit organizations) for $1,500. Tax receipts will be issued by the Society. Bricks may be purchased at the Community Centre Customer Service Desk, online, or from the Board of Directors of the Society. Cash, cheque and major credit cards are accepted.
